Halloween Party Shooting: Five Shot As Suspect Dressed Like Freddy Krueger Opens Fire


A male suspect dressed as the villain from the “Nightmare on Elm Street” movies has opened fire at a Halloween party in Texas, shooting 5 party-goers before fleeing the party.

While authorities have yet to make any arrests in relation to the shooting, police in San Antonio are currently searching for two suspects that are believed to have been involved in the shooting.

KSAT reports that, according to police, the two male suspects got into an alternative with someone in attendance at the party when one of the suspects, the man dressed like Freddy Krueger, suddenly drew his gun and began shooting.

According to investigators, the suspects fled the scene of the crime following the shooting.

One woman and four men were taken to a nearby hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

William Warren was quoted by KSAT as having said that the shooting woke him up in the middle of the night and that he “heard a bunch of yelling and screaming and hollering” before he suddenly “heard a coupe of shots” following by four or five my shots.

A nextdoor neighbor, Cassie Nogueron, told KSAT that she dialed the authorities after she heard what sounded to her like gunfire. She was quoted as having said that she knows what gunshots sound like and that when she heard them, she thought, “Oh no! What’s going on?”

“I know the sound of gunshots. We go to the gun range and you recognize the sound. It’s loud. It’s scary¬†(…) We just heard them and thought, ‘Oh no! What’s going on?'”

According to the authorities, the shooting took place at around 5:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. KSAT reports that the shooting occurred at a house party held in the 2900 block of Aspen Meadow in San Antonio, Texas.
