The new Final Fantasy XV Gladiolus DLC is out today which features a new story with Gladiolus as the main character, a new gameplay style, and new enemies.

Yesterday, Square Enix released a new update for Final Fantasy XV to address bugs and add content to the much-criticized Chapter 13.

Final Fantasy XV was released on Nov. 29, 2016. The story takes place in the bustling world of Eos where the main protagonist, Noctis, is the prince of the Kingdom of Lucis. On the eve of peace negotiations between the Lucian empire and the Niflheim empire, rulers of every other part of Eos, the Niflheim empire violently seizes the Kingdom of Lucis, murdering the king in the process and gaining possession of a powerful crystal. From there, Noctis, along with his best friends must take a journey to retake his kingdom and take his rightful place on the throne. The heart of Final Fantasy XV lies within its characters. The heart of Final Fantasy XV lies within its characters. The core of the game is centered around and hinges on the relationship of Noctis and his best friends: Gladiolus, Ignis, and Prompto. Players will spend the majority of their time with these characters as players are able to do any number of activities like camping, cooking together, and have constant engaging dialogue amongst themselves to really bond over this journey. The combat system is also new for the franchise as now instead of turn-based gameplay, combat happens in real-time. While unique for Final Fantasy, this has become the standard in the RPG space so a modernization of some elements of the series was clearly taken to heart.
